Hadn’t really ever heard of a “registering beam” before but it definitely caught my eye. Looks simple enough but at first glance I wasn’t sure what is was used for.
It appear s that it was a scale back in the day. I wouldn’t test it now but I would guess you drove on to this platform and the weight was registered.
Regardless of what it used to do, it now just sits in a field looking stately while watching the days pass by.
These had nothing to do with it but they were big and rusty and you know how much I love rust.
